ABOUT:
Mike Whetzel is an audio engineer based in Nashville, Tennessee. After graduating in 2014 from the Blackbird Academy Professional School of Audio, founded by John and Martina McBride, he interned at the world-renowned Blackbird Studio in Nashville, followed by A/V installation work for Clair Global, an industry leader in live sound.
Soon, a progression to concert touring was realized. With ten years of national and international touring experience, Mike has worked tours with artists such as rock band .38 Special, violinist and Youtube superstar Lindsey Stirling, Pantera bass player Rex Brown, pedal-steel jam artist Robert Randolph & The Family Band, multi-platinum 80s rockers Great White, Eddie Montgomery from the legendary country duo Montgomery Gentry, and many others.
In addition, Mike has mixed monitors and front of house for a wide variety of other artists, venues, and houses of worship. With years of experience including mixing front of house and monitors for major tours, festivals, fairs, and one off events featuring high profile artists, Mike has a diverse portfolio of experience to assist with your A/V needs.
